Today is Thanksgiving Day or Turkey Day in Canada. I’ve already had my fill and will be enjoying left overs today. Thanks to COVID we have started a new tradition for Thanksgiving. No big gatherings so we get to go to 4 different small gatherings. On Saturday we go to my Grand-daughter’s house, where her mother does a fantastic traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings. On Sunday we go to my Grand-sons’ place for a turkey roll with amazing vegetables. On Monday we eat left overs that have been sent home. The next weekend we do it all over again with the other 2 sons.
Today is also the Day of the Girl. To celebrate girl power and strength. Remembering famous women like Eleanor Roosevelt who quietly used their positions to give women strength.
Once upon a time…..It’s also the Kraken Day or also known as Myths and Legends Day. So get out a good book and read about some myths or legends.
