I was recently asked to do some Black and White Artistic Head Shots.
Here are some of my favorites. These done outside with natural lighting, so these types of photos could be done with COVID-19 restrictions:
A walk and chance stop along a boardwalk at Lettuce Lake Park, Tampa, Florida. I watched an anhinga playing with his food. He posed, tossed it into the air and swallowed the meal whole.
I love flowers. They spread their beauty as they open and look over the world.
Symbols of love, passion, lust, desire, purity, spring, life ……………….
There is a flower for every occasion.
Perfection, imperfection, reflections, textures, colours, depths, lights, bugs, bees, butterflies…….
My favorite annual event is the Strathroy-Caradoc Horticultural Garden Tour and where Gardens are open for viewing and I can take pictures of the beautiful flowers.
The pair of lions is one of my all time favorites. They posed perfectly for the camera and the light was perfect. “Zoo” pictures can be amazing, after all they are a captive client.
Busch Gardens will always remain one of my favorite places. They have something for everyone. Playgrounds, rides, shows, gardens and beautiful animals.
An amazing place in Florida, Saddlebrook Golf Course in Wesley Chapel Florida. From one vantage point you can view nesting Egrets, turtles, Woodstorks and Alligators.
The Great White Egrets have feathers like veils that blend into the hanging moss and shelter their babies.
I’m not much for editing but, this style of “beyond the of the frame” does create an interesting effect.
