Celebrating women in STEM today is remembered as Ada Lovelace Day. Ada Lovelace is often referred to as the first computer programmer. She is an important example of women who were successful in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Freethought Day is celebrated on what is thought to be the last day of the Salem Witch Trials. It is a day to remember the differences between people. “By putting a stop to the executions, reason and logic won out over superstition.”

Today’s food celebrated is Pulled Pork Day. A perfect reason to have Pulled Pork on a fresh Portuguese crusty bun.
