Porte Ponderings:

What a weekend. The winds were very strong and my backyard fence fell down in several places. Luckily Insurance will be covering some of the cost of repairs. We’ve been busy getting quotes and deciding what’s best to do. Hopefully the work can be done ASAP. The fence between our backyard and the Business is a liability. If it fell it could hit some of the parked cars.

Trouble always comes in 3’s. The second problem came when our cat, Archie came home with battle wounds. So off to the vet’s he went. $250 worth of emergency care and pain medication. He’s resting comfortably at home on his way to recovery. No broken bones or obvious wounds, but definitely walking slowly.

Now I’m just waiting for the 3rd problem to show up. Maybe it was the dentist appointment? My share is always over $100.
