Rickie does like to smile for the camera. At almost 15 he keeps smiling and loves to go for walks. He seems to be missing Maddie, but he is enjoying reaqainting with his Florida friends.
Monday I joined the exercise group here at Sleepy Hollow. It was a lot more than I thought it would be, I ended up sitting for an hour afterward trying to re-couperate.
Tuesday I joined the local TOPS group and attended the meeting. It was good to re-new aquaintances and see everyone at the meeting.

Rickie certainly feels love and loyalty and gratitude.
One of my favorite memes: A man dies and goes to heaven. At the first gate there are glorious statues and gardens There is a sign that says Welcome to Heaven, and another sign that says “NO DOGS ALLOWED”. The man says if dogs aren’t allowed I don’t want to go there. So, he continues along the path and comes to a second gate. He can see beyond the gate are dogs running, large trees and forests. He approaches the gate and is welcomed. He asks the gatekeeper about the first gate. The gatekeeper says: oh, that is actually Hell, it weeds out a lot of people. After all what would heaven be without dogs?
I don’t know what my path is yet.~ Olivia Newton-John
I’m just walking on it.
Musician / Born: September 26, 1948 Died: August 8, 2022
Busy weekend over and I’m ready for the 2nd Repatha shot. If the weather co-operates I’ll also be going on my second ride with CMC 021. I really am a fair weather only rider.
Of all the songs Olivia Newton-John did when she passed everyone only remembered her for Grease but I remember her for Physical and the Promise (the Dolphin Song) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jau-m6qlc84.
So, even though you may not know your path, keep walking it ❤

The last Saturday of the Summer and the weather is giving us a mini heat wave to enjoy. The trees have already started to turn red. Less than a month and it’s the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.
Group fitness activities have finally resumed. Zumba for the first time in 3 1/2 years. So glad to get out there and shake it a bit to get fit again.
The local motorcycling group has a new president and sent out invitations to all the inactive members. Monday night family dinners or motorcycling? I think we should try family dinner nights on Tuesdays. I haven’t gotten my motorcycle out since July.
Prior to a photo session I like to set-up and test the lighting as well as the types of shots I will be taking. Here are some lighting tests with my favorite models. I start with the stuffed toy then used my dog Rickie. I found out that my lens was set to DX and was able to change the mode to Full Frame before shooting with the live model. Lens cleaned again for dust, batteries ready, and everything is ready for my time with the guest of honour.
Nothing is cuter than pet photos, especially when it’s your pet. Why not bring your dog along for a photo session in the Park? Only $50 for 1/2 hour session. Sunrise and sunset are the best times, but anytime would work. Call or text me at 519-318-0412 to book an appointment.
Rickie loves to be in Florida. Walks on warm days, Westerns on TV, the squirrels in the park, the hot grass to roll in, the people are so friendly…
