Porte Ponderings:
Hidden safely among the branches to sleep the day away this Black crowned night heron is perfectly framed by the live oak branches. Tell tale signs of poop are on the walkway below, but only those who know his sleeping spot can find him.

Porte Ponderings:
It was wonderful to have a birthday on Good Friday.
My grandchildren and sons were able to fly kites in the afternoon. Although it was much colder than we thought we loaded everyone up and went to the High School. The football field there was excellent for kite flying. A red shouldered hawk even decided to join the kites. We should make this an annual tradition. ❤
All of my family were able to get together for turkey supper.
Thank you for all of the wonderful birthday wishes.
