This Anhinga was drying it’s wings deep in the cedar forest along the Hillsborough River. Also known as a snake bird for the way it swims. A couple from Woodstock told me they called them “flasher birds” because of the way their wings are hung.

The anhinga in today’s picture was drying it’s wings in the sunshine. I loved the way the sunshine outlined and highlighted the anhinga’s wings. The wings appeared almost translucent with the individual wing feathers having additional definition from the glow of the sun.
Sure the fight was fixed.

Morning glory seeds to be specific and they are already starting to grow. I put them in a cinder block to keep the lawn maintenance guys from cutting the flowers down when the trimmers are being used.
