I went to see the Amanda Marshall – 25 & Counting: The Heavy Lifting Tour in London at Budweiser Gardens (June 18, 2023). Her performance was energizing. It was as if all the years away from the stage had never happened. I admire her courage and stamina to get back up there performing for her fans new and old.
There are so many performers who’s managers stole their careers/lives.
Stories coming out on the silver screen of greedy managers tell us again of amazing careers in spite of mismanagement and tales in the tabloids of parents with unwarranted control. Makes be glad I’ve lived a quiet life.
