“Ethics is knowing
the difference between
what you have a right to do
and what is right to do”

~ Potter Stewart
Former Associate Justice
of the Supreme Court of the US
Born on: 23rd January 1915

Porte Ponderings:

Alone in a cave with the inspiration of just one light beam a seed dropped by a Jamaican Fruit Bat starts to grow. It struggles against all odds to grow upright. One could just pluck it out and kill it. But instead the visitors let it grow against all odds. It might manage to beat the odds and become a noble fruit tree or it might wither and die. But not plucking it out and dashing its life is the right thing.

Similarly some people are borne gender neutral or as hermaphrodites.
Just wanting to live a productive life and be loved like anyone else.

What does it hurt to be kind?

Or they are borne of two spirits.
And want to transition to the opposite they were borne with?

What does it hurt to be kind?

In a world where you could be right or be kind.

Choose to be kind.

“Writing is like prostitution.
First you do it for love,
and then for a few close friends,
and then for money”

Photography is like prostitution.
First you do it for love,
and then for a few close friends,
and then for money”
