No, really, it’s Pancake Day. Tomorrow is the beginning of Lent for Christians. A time of “giving up” and reflection. Today we feast on whatever’s left in the cupboard. PANCAKES ❤

2020 was the year we went to Texas for sunshine in January. Only to have to return in March due to the COVID Pandemic.

Luckily, before we had to return, I had the opportunity to hike. I explored many of the local wildlife preserves and parks in the area.

The wildlife in Texas is like no other I’ve seen on my travels. Javelina, Green Jays, Pack Rats, Chachalaca, Great Kiskadee and scorpions to mention a few.
