Get out the weekend newspaper and do the word games to celebrate National Word Nerd Day. My Father and Husband used to have a weekly competition to see who could solve the word search puzzle first. I know of others who are brave enough to do crossword puzzles in ink. This is a day to celebrate their brain power.
During the Pandemic restrictions it will be a little harder to do, but be certain to gather the family together for National Sunday Supper Day.
Today is the 1st Sunday after Epiphany. The three kings gave their presents and were told by an angel to take a different way home. Then King Harrod had all the baby boys under 2 killed. Luckily, Mary and Joseph had already gone home and were no longer in Bethlehem. But this Sunday isn’t remembered for the mass murder of innocent children, but for the Baptism of Christ.
