Right or wrong, the customer is always right.

Bad Poetry Day

Bartering is a fine art in Dominican Republic. Touring the Umbrella lined street and market in December 2019. What a unique idea to provide the customers with shade during the heat of the day.

How should one celebrate
or even give in debate?
When one is required
to provide as desired
on Bad Poetry Day
.

Daily Quote: December 23

A place for everything,
and everything in its place.
~ Samuel Smiles (December 23, 1812 – April 16, 1904)

Human Light Celebration

Between the Winter Solstice and Christmas,
preparing for the New Year,
pause to re-evaluate priorities.
Look up to the heavens,
see umbrellas set in place
and the stars at night watching over you.
Look down to the ground,
set your roots firmly.
Look across the table,
see the ones you love.
Look around the neighbourhood,
see friends and strangers.
Look over your gifts,
see how you can distribute them.
