Holidays and Celebrations:

*Today is my newest grandson’s 3rd birthday party, but due to pandemic restrictions we choose not to attend today, but to take a present over last night and spend some time with him without the crowds (and to help keep the gathering to 10 in total for the party). It was an excellent decision. We had him and his parents all to ourselves and had a wonderful visit. As we were leaving he was getting ready for bed and putting on the spiderman pajamas we gave him. I hope they brought him good dreams.

Holidays and Celebrations:

The prediction for today is sunny and a high of 22C. (more of the same) It’s so hard to believe that November 2020 is so beautiful. I went walking with my sister in the morning and we stopped while the dogs frolicked in the leaves behind the skate park. Rickie ran circles in the leaves while Maddie chased him in bigger circles. In the afternoon I took my kayak and went to Pinery Provincial Park. The Old Ausabile Channel was clear and flat. Water lilies had been replaced with oak leaves floating on top of the water. I saw 10 turtles catching the last moments of sunshine.

My future daughter-in-law posted her engagement pictures today. I’m so glad I was able to take them for her. I think my son and her are such a beautiful couple.
