*Yesterday my youngest son got married to the beautiful woman in the picture I’m using for the Daily Quote. The picture and Daily Quote just seemed to match so well. The little things we do day to day, moment to moment builds up to our life. And suddenly you realize that all the little tasks are what gives definition of life. The day we did the dishes together, the laugh you shared, cleaning up the spilled milk, changing diapers, digging out of a snow storm…… My heart almost exploded with joy as my new daughter hugged me and said “This is just the beginning of the rest of our lives.”
The Maid of Honour got lost so the wedding had a late start. Everyone fearful that the bride had changed her mind like in some movie.
Then there was the moment at the Ceremony when our newest grandson turned to the audience, smiled at the photographer and said “Say Cheese”. Followed by the moment he came over to his new Grandpa, without prompting and put up his arms wanting to sit on his Grandpa’s lap to watch his mother and new father make their vows to each other. At the reception and meal my grandchildren played and chased each other around. Such Joy is immeasurable.
