Porte Musings:

Winter is quickly approaching. If you don’t already have a coat it can be very cold. Today be certain to donate Coats & Toys for Kids as you celebrate Coats & Toys for Kids Day.

The Santa Claus Parades are all underway. So write your letter to Santa to mark Santa’s List Day. If you live in Canada you’re extra lucky because we all know the North Pole is located in Canada. After all we mail our letters to Santa Claus, North Pole, CANADA H0H 0H0 and we get letters back. A special thanks to all the elves at Canada Post. 😉

Get busy cooking those cookies on National Cookie Day. Don’t forget a couple extra for Santa and his reindeer on Christmas Eve. A glass of milk will also go well. 😉

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving.
What you have caught on film is captured forever…
it remembers little things,
long after you have forgotten everything.

Holidays and Celebrations:

*COVID-19 restrictions have added another wrinkle to my son’s wedding. I was hoping to play my flute for his wedding. The venue had approved it as I would be more than 6′ from others and could face away when I’m playing, but the officiant objected and is requiring that I have a shield as well. Finding a shield is proving to be more difficult than I had imagined, so I thought I would make a video with my new microphone. However, I can’t use the remote to start and end the video, so I’ll also have to learn how to edit the video. Then because of the file size I had to learn how to post it on YouTube. So if nothing else COVID-19 has made us all learn new ways of doing things.
