Then if you’re Catholic attend mass to celebrate Michaelmas. Named after the greatest Archangel in Revelations that defeats Satan. Michael is also the protector against Darkness. The day itself is the celebration of the Autumn Solstace. In Britian and Ireland it was known as one of the Quarter Days. At the end of the harvest Servants were hired, leases were signed and rent was due. Geese was the currency used the most, so today is also known as Goose Day.

COVID-19 reported in Ontario yesterday were the highest recorded for a single day. We are in the second wave now and all wondering about the soon to come restrictions and going back into lock down mode.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner many have had to cancel dinner plans because their family is more than 10 people. Wedding plans could be changed or cancelled at the last minute. How are people going to pay their rent or feed their families this time?
