Porte Musings:

Important enough in American Folklore to have 2 days: March 11th and September 26th Johnny Appleseed Day remembers one man’s dream to ensure that apple trees grew everywhere across America.

Today is also Dream Day. So follow your dreams and see where they will take you. They are limited only by your imagination.

I’ve never tried one but today is Oatmeal Nut Waffles Day. Maybe today is the day to try one. 😉

I wouldn’t need to lug around a camera.

Holidays and Celebrations:

Porte Musings:

Being the mother of 3 sons, I had to wait until they got married to know the joy of having a daughter. But my daughter-in-laws were worth waiting for. Beautiful, inteligent, wise, loving women all of them. I’m so blessed. I wonder if as well as National Daughter’s Day there is a National Daughter-in-Laws Day?

Today is also set aside to remember International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons. After 3 years of being in the middle of “hostage politics”, the 2 Michaels were finally returned from China. Thank goodness we weren’t exchanging nuclear bombs with China.

We also celebrate Johny Appleseed Day today. So like Johny Appleseed, spread goodness everywhere you go. Plant seeds of food for thought if not literally for food.
