My photographs are a celebration of life, fun and the beautiful.
They are a world that doesn’t exist. A fantasy. Freedom is real.
There are no rules. The life I wish I was living.

My photos are a celebration of life, the fun and the beautiful. But unlike Ryan McGinley my photos aren’t fantasy. They capture a moment in time to be cherished. Whether it be a smile or a glance, a special occasion or an everyday occurrence. My grandchildren playing, a place I’ve been or some animal I’ve observed. All things that capture my heart and cause it to melt just a little in the warmth of the memory.

Celebrate World Toy Camera Day by giving a child a camera, real or toy so that they can experiment with different ways to frame the world.

Remember the poor today on International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Although there will always be poor, maybe you can lessen the trials just a little bit for someone.

On National Pasta Day, we remember the comfort food that fills not only our bellies, but our hearts as well. From Kraft Dinner to Linguine Carbonara pasta always satisfies.

I’m making the art for me first.
I’m making it because
these are the pictures I want to see.
I’m making pictures that don’t yet exist.
