Porte Musings:

Fly, fly away as we celebrate International Civil Aviation Day.

I’m so looking forward to being able to fly again. I’ve booked a Cuba Vacation for January and have already started packing. 2 weeks on the beach. Now I just hope and pray the Omicron variant doesn’t shut down the world again.

One of the most historical moments is cause for pause today: National Pearl Harbour Remembrance Day. The surprise attack that drew the USA into WWII. On an island in Hawaii, where the world changed forever.

The food of the day is spun sugar as we celebrate National Cotton Candy Day. No other food could be so disastrous for diabetics, but I still can’t resist a small pinch of pink cotton candy. 😉

You cannot be anything if you want to be everything.

Holidays and Celebrations:

The sky said to the ground below:
Let’s meet at the horizon.

Where Rainbows start and end,
Where the sun sets and the moon rises.

We can blend together in an infinite place
Just beyond the edge of the world.
