I have never been lost,
but I will admit to being confused for several weeks.

Porte Musings:

Still in the Halloween Spirit today is All Souls’ Day or Day of the Dead. A day set aside to remember the faithfully departed.

So it’s never to early to commemorate Plan Your Epitaph Day. I remember doing this in elementary school as an exercise to inspire us to become great and memorable. What do you want written on your tombstone? Debbie cheated death and is still alive.

I’ve never understood why National Deviled Egg Day is celebrated today. To me it should be celebrated in the summertime when they are a part of picnics and Family Reunions.

Today is Daniel Boone’s Birthday, but Boone Day is in June. I always got Daniel Boone and Davy Crocket mixed up. I think I was heavily influenced Disney Productions and NBC that had Fess Parker play both.

Holidays and Celebrations:

Don’t follow me. I’m lost.

Not really, but if I take a wrong road or path and find something new I may not take the shortest route. I may stop to take some pictures, watch some birds, try a new restaurant, pause to breathe in my surroundings, talk to a stranger, buy a new trinket.

Don’t follow me, but travel with me to the beach, the mountains, the forest, the valley to share adventures on our way.
