Porte Ponderings:
Hike #2 of the Hillsborough Hiking Spree was at Edward Medard Conservation Park, Plant City. It was rated 3-strenuous, but only had a couple of areas that were difficult. Although it said to take your dog hiking with you to the Singing Bluffs, Rickie hated the trail. The trail was too full of scents for him and he almost had to be dragged out to the point. Coming back I couldn’t keep up with him, good thing he was on a leash 😉
The oberservation tower was the first tower I”ve seen that’s totally handicap accessible.
I’m glad I was told to stop and see the sacred trees. They were amazing. High on sanddunes with roots exposed.
