The drake wood duck always looks like a wooden decoy to me. Too bright and too beautiful to be real. Gliding effortlessly on the water. Posing for anyone that wants to take its photo.
Zephyr Park is a perfect place for these birds to make their nests in the large Live Oak trees. An ideal location for the young ducklings to grow into adults.
