Fasting and prayer continues on the 39th day of Lent for Christians and the 8th day of Ramadan for Muslims.
For those that believe in fantasy and dreams today is National Unicorn Day. Remember the Irish Rovers and the Unicorn song? A good Irish ballad about why there are no more unicorns?
Some friends and I are going out for supper tonight to celebrate our birthdays. Hopefully it will include the celebration of National Chinese Almond Cookie Day as well.
Caught on camera at a baseball game in Lakeland the batter lost his bat mid-stroke and I caught it with my camera. Lucky shot for me. Bad luck for him.
