Holidays and Celebrations:
Porte Musings:
Today is set aside to remember your roots. Genealogy Day celebrates all the skeletons on our closets as we map our our forefathers. DNA has added an extra layer to this story. But be careful. Like my husband you might discover your father isn’t who you thought he was.
Just like a Hitchcock movie the plots and twists could take you to a land never known before. Although it doesn’t celebrate his birthdate or death, today is National Alfred Hitchcock Day.
So what will 2022 bring. Flowers. And how do I know that? Because I’m planting flowers. Join me in the celebration of National Plant a Flower Day.
Scallops aren’t my favorite food, but the abductor muscle of bihalves or two shelled mollusks are celebrated today as National Baked Scallops Day. Baked or cooked your favorite way, I guess if you put enough garlic butter on them they would be edible. 😉
