Get out the books and celebrate Family Literacy Day. Read, read, read….. My father was only able to read at a grade 3 level, but even he liked to read the comics and do the word search puzzles.
Treat yourself with a piece of Chocolate Cake as you celebrate National Chocolate Cake Day.
In December I had a terrible cold and had to go to the hospital for antibiotics. They also took a chest x-ray that showed a small spot of scar tissue on my left lung. The Doctor said not to worry about it, it was a very small spot. So today I go for a follow-up x-ray.
I’m also packing to go to Florida for a vacation. We aren’t taking the cats this time, and I will miss them sorely. I’ve already decided I won’t leave them behind again. My sons will make sure they are fed and cared for while I’m away, but I’ll miss them even if they don’t miss me.
