Porte Musings:
Read some well written fantasy books today or at least watch the Lord of the Rings again as we celebrate J.R.R. Tolkien Day.
Also remember you die on Memento Mori Day. Not to be morbid, but all good things come to an end. Do the exercise of writing your own obituary. Are you the person you want to be remembered as? If not it’s not too late, you can become that person.
One of my favorite treats are chocolate covered cherries. So today I have a reason to indulge as it’s National Chocolate Covered Cherry Day.
On the 10th Day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Ten lords a-leaping
Nine ladies dancing
Eight maids a-milking
Seven swans a-swimming
Six geese a-laying
Five golden rings (five golden rings)
Four calling birds
Three French hens
Two turtle-doves
And a partridge in a pear tree
