Porte Musings:

International Anti-Corruption Day, the name says it all. So how do we help? Don’t buy black market goods. It’s that simple. If there is no market for ill gotten goods, the corruption stops.

Emmet Kelly, the man behind Weary Willie Day should be remembered not as a sad sack, but as a man who knows he has missed the boat and is doing the best he can with what he has. His comedy came from the audience knowing they’ve done similar things or would in the same circumstances.

To top of the day enjoy some decadent pastry and celebrate National Pastry Day.
