Today is the International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict. Such a long name for saying wars cause devastation.
I prefer to sit in a good chair with a book and a cheap glass of wine as I celebrate both Book Lovers Day and National Wine Tasting Day.
My new floors are installed. We got a new desk for the laundry room so the kitty litter box is out of sight and they have a platform to eat on where the dog can’t steal their food. We bought a new laundry tub and it is almost installed. Then I need to re-nail my 1/4 round trim. I can’t wait to get the furniture back in place. To have a washing machine and dryer again is now my goal.
