Sometimes life drops blessings in your lap
without your lifting a finger.
Serendipity, they call it.

Holidays and Celebrations:

Porte Musings:

Monday, October the 4th, and I’ll be photographing a City Hall Wedding in downtown London, Ontario. The forecast says rain so I looked at options for indoor sites. I have found a reasonable studio in London, but the couple has decided to be adventerous and gamble on the weather. So I’m hoping the rain stays away until after lunch. There are some nice bridges nearby where we could take shelter and I have some ideas for the couple and their witnesses. The umbrellas will make excellent props.

Today is International Toot Your Flute Day. As anyone knows you don’t toot a flute, you play a flute and you toot a horn. So get your flute out and play some clear vibrant notes or some jazzy blues.

Today is also World Animal Day. Celebrated by the Catholic Church as Blessing of the Animals at the Cathedral Day or St. Francis of Assisi Day.

If the rain continues, it might be a wonderful day to re-watch your favorite Charlton Heston Movie and celebrate the life of the artist who played some of the most amazing men in history.
