In the middle of Canada’s Federal Election 2021 we celebrate the International Day of Democracy. For my Canadian friends and followers, be certain to vote. It is your civid duty and democratic privilage.
Today is also the First Day of Yom Kippur. The last day to atone your sins in the 10 days of repentance. A day of fasting and prayer. Jews seek to purify their souls by denying the bodily pleasures.
Today is also Green Peace Day. So save the whales and save the world.
I decided today, Marco Polo’s birthday should be celebrated by Marco Polo Day. Not the swimming pool game, but the explorer and adventurer. Celebrate by nurturing the adverturer in you. Go for a walk or a short trip to enjoy the variety of life and flavours of the world around you. Discover something new to you.
