The first of September and summer is growing closer to the end as days are shorter and nights are cooler.
Celebrate World Letter Writing Day. Write a letter to someone you haven’t seen in a while. Even in this day and age we all love to get a letter in the mail as we appreciate the time and effort for the sender to write us a letter.
Emma M. Nutt Day remembers the first day of work in 1878 that the first female operator plugged people in. It later became a female dominated profession with many jobs being created to connect people. Growing up you could call the operator to find out what time it was, or to get help when it was needed.
After a long day of work nothing is better than to have Archie greet me at the door. So today is dedicated to Ginger Cat Appreciation Day. Here’s to all the Ginger Cats.
