Wow! So many interesting people have their birthdays on August 18th: Davy Crockett, Samuel Goldwyn and Mae West just to mention 3. No wonder it is Black Cat Appreciation Day. Black cats also stand out in a crowd.
Interestingly it is also Baby Boomers Recognition Day. A day to remember the Baby Boomers of the world and their contributions. The number of Baby Boomers may be decreasing, but those of us remaining are still living life large.
And if we have some extra time today we’ll celebrate National Thrift Shop Day. Do some serious shopping and contribute to the fund raising, while creatively re-using at the same time.
