Like a light at the end of a tunnel, we have come through Harold’s Cancer Surgery and things are starting to get back to normal. He’s home and able to go upstairs to bed. The follow-up appointments will let us know if chemo is needed, but the prognosis is good as the surgeon didn’t see any spread to the lymph nodes.
We met his “new” biological Sister and Brother last week for lunch. Just a warning to anyone thinking about getting a DNA test from Ancestry.ca, you may not find as good of a family connection as Harold did, and the results can be upsetting. His one sister still doesn’t believe the DNA is right and refuses to acknowledge that Harold has the same mother, but a different father.

Glad to hear hopeful news about Harold.

Monday is our follow-up appointment with the surgeon. For the first time in years Harold is able to walk, I don’t know if it’s related to the cancer or just a fortunate co-incidence due to the use of his new socks. A special Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers.
