Fast is fine,

but accuracy is everything.
Holidays and Celebrations:
- Feast of St. Joseph
- National Backyard Day
- National Poultry Day
Porte Musings:
Celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph, March 19th. Falling on a Friday this year it is a working man’s holiday so those of you who usually eat fish on Fridays, you can eat meat and celebrate with the working class. Make something to celebrate with the Carpenters of the world, the real men who care for women and children (even if you don’t know the father.)
A backyard BBQ would be an excellent way to celebrate both the Feast of St. Joseph and National Backyard Day. Just spending time with your family and enjoying your backyard.
If that isn’t enough, buy a chicken (or a rooster) for the backyard and celebrate National Poultry Day with the new trend of keeping backyard chickens. I always loved seeing the chickens in Dominican Republic as they worked tirelessly eating bugs and keeping the area pest free. They were so colourful and healthy, always ready for a quick dinner.
Keep in mind, as Wyatt Erp said: Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything. 😉
We have a tradition of praying to St. Joseph when something is lost. And when people want to sell their house and are having trouble, the tradition is to bury a statue of St. Joseph in the front yard. He is supposed to be facing a certain direction. The day also reminds me of my great-grandfather who was a carpenter and came to St. Louis to work on the 1904 World’s Fair. I always enjoy your daily writings! Thanks, and have a good day!

Thanks. I didn’t know about praying to St. Joseph for the lost or burying a statue to help sell a home. Remembering your roots is always interesting. ❤
