Philosophy is common sense with big words.

Holidays and Celebrations:
Porte Musings:
March 16th is a quiet day. The day before the Irish St. Patrick’s Day is the Finish St. Urho’s Day. Originally celebrated on March 24th, it was moved to March 16th, probably to ensure it came before St. Patrick’s Day. St. Urho allegedly save the grape crops in Finland by eliminating all the frogs (or maybe it was grasshoppers) from Finland. You can celebrate the day by eating grapes and drinking a grasshopper. Wear royal purple and lime green.
Probably more importantly today is Lip Appreciation Day. So don’t just give it lip service, but treat your lips to some moisturizer and sunscreen as we celebrate one of the most sensitive parts of our body.
