Daily Quote: September 22, 2020

Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well.

Philip Stanhope, 4th Earl of Chesterfield
(British – Statesman / September 22, 1694 – March 24, 1773)

Holidays and Celebrations:

Beginning of Fall (Autumnal Equinox)

Dear Diary Day (USA)

Finally the first day of Fall (I always thought it was September 21st).

A bouquet of leaves that have already turned red hold today’s “Quote of the Day”. My mother always said the shorter version: Whatever’s worth doing is worth doing well. This phase has often prevented me from just doing things. If I can’t do something well I tend not to just get the job done. So somedays I need to just tuck this quote aside and ” Just do it”.
