Children and formal schooling have been severely impacted by COVID-19. Schools have been closed since the beginning of March Break and are expected to open in September as schedules are being developed. My grandsons don’t want to go back to school. They’ve enjoyed being at home too much.
I’m uncertain if I were a parent if I would want them to go back either. They’ve been learning about life, exploring their environments and spending their days in play. School has been available on-line. Maybe the days of the formal classroom are numbered.
