National Pot Smokers Day
4/20 (celebrating marijuana)
Now that Marijuana is legal in Canada the 4/20 Celebration is no longer to protest that smoking marijuana is illegal, but instead to celebrate the legalization of marijuana and to strive for global legalization. During the COVID-19 Pandemic marijuana distribution centers were kept open across Canada as they were considered as an essential service. The many medical benefits can now be tested and verified in Canada. Reduction of anxiety attacks, alternative pain medication and possible epilepsy medication are all possible areas for improvement by pot.
Still there are countries in the world where marijuana is illegal and people are jailed for partaking or possessing pot.
