Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is when I celebrate the season with my children and their growing families. Leaving Christmas morning for my children to celebrate with their families and Boxing Day for them to celebrate with their in-laws.

At the very beginning of Christmas holidays I make supper for them.  This year we’re having ham, meatballs, cheesy potatoes, and creamed corn.

Gifts for the grandchildren of books to read during their holidays are opened.  I’ve prepared a small gift of homemade jam and dish clothes for our children with a universal gift certificate of cash included.  But the best gift of all is the one my husband and I receive of just being together with our family.
