Local residents can borrow a pass for the National Gallery of Canada from their Local Library for the week. We took advantage of this and headed out to this National Collection of Treasures.
Parking beside the Rideau Canal we saw the flooding that still continues as water still covers many of the paths along the river.
Inside the National Gallery of Canada we took our time examining paintings and sculptures. The Inuit Art was amazing.
The entire Rideau Chapel was moved inside the Gallery. It is unfortunate that the sound system was loaned out so we couldn’t hear the wonderful acoustics.
Amazing Art……
Since parking was for the entire day, we walked through the tulips at Parliament Hill, ate Pho in a Vietnamese Restaurant near ByWard Market and toured the neighbourhood.
